Folk & Early Music Enrichment Program

Participants enjoy hands-on experience with instruments of the Renaissance Era, including the bowed psaltery, plucked psaltery, and harmonium. Audiences learn about exciting traditions, important composers, songs, and participate in sing-alongs and instrumental performances. This upbeat and innovative workshop teaches history, cultural pastimes and Celtic Traditions within the context of an Early Music Concert. Celeste Ray's Folk & Early Music Program has been incorporated into the teaching curriculums of both the Rockaway Artists Alliance and the Brooklyn Arts Council. |
